RACE REPORT
From qualifying and the opening phase through strategy, battles and the chequered flag – this is where we document how the race unfolded for ABRAGP.
ABRAGP Performance Team made its Season 4 SRL debut at Road Atlanta. Kay Lovell qualified P26 with a 1:20.273 in an extremely tight field and climbed as high as P15 during the opening phase. A dirty-air spin, an unfortunate pit-stop window and a later collision with around 80 seconds of repairs prevented a much stronger result. After dropping to P27, Kay recovered to P24 over 47 laps. Under the published points scale, P24 corresponds to seven points, subject to the final official classification. Round 5 follows at Long Beach on 9 November, with Spa on 23 November and Le Mans on 7 December.
